Any Questions?
Only one blade is serrated, while the other has a beveled edge.
The serrated blade is designed to firmly grip rounded or slippery materials, while the beveled edge blade is built for cutting. Generally, if you are right-handed, you’ll place the material on top of the serrated blade to keep it steady, with the beveled cutting edge on top. This way, you can press down with your thumb to exert cutting force on the beveled blade, while the serrated blade at the bottom holds the material steady with its fine serrations.
Yes, you can use our handy sharpener on the cap. Make 5 passes on the beveled edge, then flip to the flat side and make 3 passes to remove any burrs. If you find the sharpener gliding smoothly through both the beveled edge and the flat side, it means the burrs have been removed. If not, please repeat the process until the sharpener can easily glide through the edge.
No, they are not magnetic.
No, these scissors are not designed for cutting poultry bones. If you need scissors for cutting chicken or fish bones, please consider checking out our heavy-duty scissors.
316 stainless steel, the material used for these scissors, is highly resistant to rust and corrosion. However, whether they will rust depends on factors such as the application and environment in which they are used. Generally, being made of 316 food-grade stainless steel, they won’t rust for a long time under normal conditions. However, in environments with high acidity, they may eventually show signs of rusting.
While you can separate the two blades for thorough cleaning, the entire scissors are not dishwasher safe. The high temperature in the dishwasher may damage the plastic handles of the scissors.
